Vonne Lara is an essayist, writer, editor, and holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Social Sciences from ITESO. She received an Honorable Mention in the 2024 Premio Nacional Dolores Castro for her novel Catástrofes imperceptibles. She is the author of the novels Descarada (Penguin Random House / Grijalbo, 2025) and Los peores vecinos del mundo (Notas Sin Pauta Editorial, 2021). She directs Soflama, Gabinete de Ensayos, a literary publication focused on the essay. Her work has appeared in publications including HuffPost, Hipertextual, and Tierra Adentro, as well as cultural and literary magazines such as Luvina and Magis, Revista ITESO.
