Winterthur, the garden city, is
with 95,000 inhabitants the sixth largest city in Switzerland. Nestled in a green, hilly landscape this once industrial city has developed into a cultural and educational centre with a large offering of museums, concerts, theatres, and schools. Winterthur is located to the east of Zürich, close to the airport, and is well connected to the region’s network of public transportation.
